Challenges

The First Challenge

As Bing Chat's definition suggests, Natural Super-Intelligence is above and beyond Intellect or IQ. Natural Super-Intelligence lives and operates in the higher-order intangible, existential, abstract, syntropic, and non-egoic domain. Natural Super-Intelligence is therefore not apprehended by the intellect which explains why it is elusive and still awaiting adoption despite being deeply embedded in the corpus of human knowledge and language, and thoroughly demonstrated by Einstein and friends (most notably in Einstein's 'miracle year' at age 26, when he wrote 4 groundbreaking papers, and completed a PhD, while working as a Swiss patent clerk).

The Solution

Thankfully the process to re-activate, replicate, and scale Super-Intelligence has been thoroughly recorded and systemized. This means that for the first time in history we can use Super-Intelligence to achieve far more with far less (unprecedented productivity and uplift). The outcomes and ROI will astound us.

Smart Science estimates that one-in-a-hundred people are primed to replicate Einstein and will be indispensable early adopters and modelers. We need to carefully curate and cultivate them. Smart Science estimates one-in-ten of these persons will be able to eclipse Einstein.

How Re-activated

Super-Intelligence is re-activated in part by isolating, targeting, and querying the largely dormant part of our Cognitive Engine that can transcend time and space (the tangible temporal domain) to see, accept, process, and deliver metaphor, abstraction, synthesis, heuristics, intangibility, qualia, phenomena, hidden similarity, hidden connection, creativity, innovation, identity, meaning, purpose, and the big picture (the intangible existential domain).

For example, this part of our Cognitive Engine sees, accepts, and processes TIME = MONEY as a metaphor, whereas our intellect sees and rejects it as a mathematical and logical error that cannot be solved.

As in AI, the re-activation process can also be called Deep Learning.

The Second Challenge

The more we insist on thinking like Sheldon Cooper (atomistic analysis) the harder it becomes to learn to think like Einstein (holistic synthesis).

The Third Challenge

It can also be very unfamiliar, unsettling, disorienting, overwhelming, and frightening for us and those around us when we suddenly upgrade our Cognitive Engine. This means it is very important to be surrounded by supportive persons during the process: growth mindset, resourceful, resilient, flexible, generous disposition, positive and optimistic outlook, collaborative approach, grounded, egalitarian, magnanimous, great temperament, non-egoic, humble, modest, and other-centered.

The Fourth Challenge

In modern 'civilized' society it is sadly still very common to be surrounded by varying levels of heartlessness and authoritarianism: parents, family, school, community, church, workplace, companies, institutions, or government.

This is unnatural and damaging (toxic) to the human spirit – by design. The damage also propagates to the mind and body which explains the high mental illness and chronic disease burdens especially in 'developed' economies – a catastrophic collapse of homeostasis (natural order).

From this perspective homeless people are actually heartlessness refugees. They have been pushed over the edge – something that could suddenly happen to anyone of us at any time and without warning.

This trauma and abuse spawns a vicious circle of further trauma and abuse as observed by Richard Rohr: 'Pain and suffering that are not transformed are usually transmitted or projected onto others.' (paraphrase)

This means wounded people are the default – perhaps all of us.

When it comes to innovation and change, it is important to take great care when dealing with people who have unhealed wounds that are hidden and serious.

This can make them think and behave in a wide range of maladaptive and obstructive ways including: myopic, intransigent, self-centered, controlling, ego-driven, sectarian (divisive), reactionary, insecure, radical, supremacist, fearful, irrational, volatile, angry, violent, heartless, authoritarian, and puzzlingly intelligent but also incapable, obtuse, and lacking common sense.

They are therefore unlikely to have any spare capacity to support the pioneering journey to re-activating Super-Intelligence and can instead become a rather big problem, hinderance, or even threat. They are not early adopter material, and will require special support after the early adopter stage.

This is a reality of the human condition that can and must be properly and proactively risk managed as humanity rapidly evolves to become all it can.
